PURPOSE:To provide a sludge removing apparatus by which sludge mixed in processing liquid can be removed easily from the processing liquid and whose running cost is low and whose maintenance is easy. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of through pipes 22 made of a non-magnetic material and a sludge adsorbing material made of a ferromagnetic material are installed in a main body container 11 having an inlet 12 to introduce a sludge-mixed processing liquid and an outlet 13 to discharge the processing liquid and magnetic elements are slidably provided in the through pipes 22. At the time of maintenance, the inside of the main body container 11 is cleaned by moving the magnetic elements in the through pipes 22 and then connecting the outlet 13 with a cleaning liquid tank through a switching valve 2 and a pump and at the same time connecting the inlet with a waste liquid tank through a switching valve 1.
