PURPOSE:To manufacture a flexible tube in which durability is improved by preventing weld line along an axial direction. CONSTITUTION:The method for manufacturing a flexible tube comprises the steps of inserting a cylindrical core 3 to a cylindrical cavity 2 formed in a mold 1 to form first and second cavities 4, 5 communicating with end side and outer peripheral side of the core, filling a molding material in the cavity 4 from a center or the vicinity of the center of an end of the core 3, and radially diffusing the material filled in the cavity 4 from an outer peripheral edge of the end of the core 3 to the cavity 5. Further, the method comprises the steps of fluidizing the material into the cavity 5 to be filled in the cavities 4, 5, then vulcanization molding the material, drawing the core 3 from the mold 1 after the molding to remove a molded form, and cutting a part molded in the cavity 4 of the form as a flexible tube. |
