A hydraulic control valve with pressure sensing means comprises a slide (1) with two annular slide grooves (4, 5). At the centre, the housing has an annular pump groove (13), to both sides thereof an annular motor groove (14, 15), beyond same an annular container groove (16, 17) and, still further outside, an annular pressure sensing groove (18, 19). Throttle profilings (9, 10, 11, 12) adjoining the annular slide grooves (4. 5) are restricted to circumferential sections. Offset therefrom circumferentially, there is at least one pressure sensing orifice (20, 22) at the slide circumference. It is connected to an outlet aperture (21, 23) by way of a connecting passage in the slide The outlet aperture communicates with an annular sensing pressure groove (18, 19) at least in the operative position of the slide (1). This results in a compact construction with little dead play. Fig. 2
