The insemination instrument sheath is used to inseminate females. The sheath consists of a tubular body, with turned back sides at the working end which form two cones: inner widening and outer narrowing towards the upper part of the tubular body. In the junction of the tubular surfaces, there is an annular cylindrical canal, whose width is a little smaller than width of a straw wall. During the insemination the tip of a straw is hustled into a channel, whose walls toughly compress the straw walls on all sides and the end to form pressure. |
