PURPOSE:To provide a polychromatic heat-sensitive recording material which can record high-quality image by preventing coloring of a texture from being generated. CONSTITUTION:A polychromatic heat-sensitive recording material is obtained by providing in order at least one layer of a heat sensitive recording layer containing an electron-donating dye precursor and electron-accepting compound as a color development compound and a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a diazo compound and a coupler which develops a color by reacting on the diazo compound at the time of heating respectively on a substrate and the heat-sensitive recording layer. Then the polychromatic heat-sensitive recording material wherein at least one layer out of the heat sensitive recording layers containing the diazo compound contains a 0.05-5mol% organic base and dye precursor which develops a color into blue by reacting on an organic base on the basis of the whole content of the diazo compound is obtained. |
