摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide a method for precisely controlling plate bend by which a roll gap is directly measured through a roll gap sensor to control the plate bending. CONSTITUTION:A roll gap sensor 11 is arranged at each of the operating and driving sides of rolling rolls to measure the difference between right and lift rolling roll gaps at the time of rolling and each of rolling down forces on the operating and driving sides of the rolling rolls is corrected to make the difference of gaps between the operating and driving sides of the rolling rolls obtd. from the roll gap sensor 11 zero. In this way, factors of variation such as change of mill constants accompanying the deterioration of the mill due to corrosion and wear or change of mill constants due to a difference between respective deformation characteristics peculiar to mounted roll chocks are grasped to improve the precision of control and stable passing property and shape quality can be secured.</p>
