PURPOSE:To obtain a low-cost coating film-releasing means effective in removing coating films of coating members such as polypropylene bumper, etc., for cars. CONSTITUTION:This coating film releasing agent composition liquid contains an organic amine compound dissolved or emulsified in water as an active ingredient. This method for releasing a coating film is to immerse a coating member in the coating film releasing agent composition liquid kept at prescribed temperature, preferably while giving vibration thereto. The coating film can effectively be released by a simple treatment using the inexpensive organic amine.
