<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the decomposition disposal efficiency of garbage by housing treating media for culturing bacteria to decompose the garbage in a treating vessel and disposing agitating vanes in this treating vessel, disposing a motor for turning the agitating vanes in the lower part of the treating vessel and heating the treating vessel by the heat generated by this motor. CONSTITUTION:Treating media 20, such as fine wooden pieces including saw dust, chaff and rice bran, for culturing the bacteria to decompose the garbage are housed in the treating vessel 4 provided with the garbage charge port 2 closed by a cap 3 in the upper part. The treating vessel 4 is internally provided horizontally with the agitating vanes 8 rotated by the motor 12 in the upper part of the vessel to generate bacilli and cocci by mixing the garbage charged into the vessel 4 with the treating media. The garbage is decayed by the bacilli and is decomposed to water and carbon dioxide by the cocci to dissipate the garbage. The water generated by decomposition of the garbage is drained from the draining section 5. The treating media 20 are maintained at the temp. at which the bacteria are activated by utilizing the heat generated by a heating means 16 having stationary teeth 19 and the motor 12 housed in a recess 13 in the lower part of the vessel 1.</p> |
