PURPOSE:To reduce a material loss by folding an inner part of a cushioning plate to be overlaid on an outer part and folding the outer part along a diagonal line. CONSTITUTION:An inner part 2 of a cushioning plate 1 is folded to be overlaid on an outer part 3, and the outer part 3 is folded along a diagonal line to provide a corner packing cushion D. The almost square inner part 2 provided on the almost square cushioning plate 1 is divided into two, wherein each of them is folded outward to be overlaid on the outer part 3, so that at least an outer angle 4 is reduced in the number of overlaps. The cushioning plate 1 is made of a double-layered cardboard material for example, wherein a direction of its core 5 formed is as shown in the figure, and when the cushion D is formed of the cushioning plate 1, the directions of the cores 5 formed mix perpendicularly to each other, so that cushioning property is almost uniform irrespective of a direction of force applied to the cushion D. Thus, the inner part 2 of the cushioning plate 1 can be utilized as a part of the cushion D, so that a material loss in the manufacturing of cushion D can be reduced. |
