PURPOSE:To improve an appearance while satisfying the same demand function as that of conventional spat-shaped clothing, to save labor for cutting and sewing and to reduce a cost required for production by cutting elastic cloth into a prescribed shape, sewing each cut part of the cloth to form the subject spat-shaped clothing. CONSTITUTION:Spat-shaped clothing has a pair of leg parts 1 circularly knitted into a cylindrical state and a short panty 2 connected to the leg parts 1. The short panty part 2 is sewed along the thigh line. The leg parts 1 have an ankle part 3, a shin part 4 connected to the ankle part and a thigh part 5. The number of wales at each of the parts 3-5 is made constant and the number of wales at the short panty part 2 is increased to double at the boundary between the short party part and the leg parts 1. |
