PURPOSE: To provide an applicator for applying a minute amount of application material fairly exactly to a desired position of the skin. CONSTITUTION: This applicator comprises a reservoir 2 for storing material 5 to be applied, a cover 4 for closing the reservoir 2, and an applicator holder 30 for supporting a deformation member 35 for applying the material. The deformation member 35 has a rough surface and is made of a shape memory material. The reservoir 2 is fixedly connected with an end member 11, of which seat 24 has one or more pores 23. When the reservoir 2 is closed by the cover 4, the deformation member 35 is pressed against the seat 24 and the pore 23 and deforms. Then drop 6 of material 5 is adsorbed to the end member 11 by a capillary action. When the cover 4 is opened and the deformation member 35 returns to its initial shape, the deformation member 35 sucks a portion of drop 6 of material 5. |
