PURPOSE:To accurately discharge respective inferior printing papers at times of rising and normal printing by grasping printing initial rising acceptance judging paper as a rising signal and stopping the discharge of a paper discharge device at a point of time when the number of pulse signals reaches the number of learning pulse signals from the rising signal. CONSTITUTION:A large number of CCD imaging devices 20 are arranged in opposed relation to both surfaces of the newspapers sent out of a large number of rotary presses 1a-1e and the respective output signals of the CCD imaging devices 20 are respectively inputted to a control panel 40 to judge the printing image line areas or densities of the newspapers. The control panel 40 outputs judgment results of the printing defect or initial rising based on scanner data 29 to a display device 30. Finally, from the rising signal of the rotary press judged to be accepted, the number of discharge stop signals is transmitted to a discharge device 6 when the prescribed number of pulses is obtained. The number of pulse signals until the newspapers reach a folding machine is confirmed at every course. At a point of time when the number of transmission pulse signals reach a pulse set value, the discharge of inferior printing paper is completed. |
