METHOD FOR PRODUCING TAXOL

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a method for efficiently producing taxol by the tissue culture of a plant of the genus Taxus. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of this method for producing taxol is to culture the tissue of a plant of the genus Taxus in a liquid medium produced by adding a gibberelin compound to a medium usually used for the tissue culture of the genus Taxus plant. The method enables the efficient multiplication of the cell without reducing the content of the taxol in the cultured cells.
