PURPOSE:To provide the laser beam machine equipped with a dust collecting mechanism which efficiently recovers the dust generated during laser beam processing regardless of movement of a processing table and processing head. CONSTITUTION:A hermetic box type processing truck 12 for mounting a work on the processing table atop the truck of the laser beam machine is provided with a pipe 14 for discharge penetrating the truck in the moving direction of the truck. A pipe 16 provided with a suction port opposite to the processing head 13 is disposed in a range across the nozzle moving direction of the processing head 13 in a direction perpendicular to the pipe 14. The dust, gas, etc., generated at the time of the laser beam processing are discharged outside via this suction port by the pipe 16 and the pipe 14. The suction port exists in the specified position facing the processing point regardless of the position of the processing head and since the suction port is positioned across the nozzle moving direction of the processing head 13, the always specified and efficient suction force is obtd. at all times regardless of the movement of the processing table. |
