PURPOSE:To secure fitting performance and positively prevent the infiltration of water from the vehicle exterior side by forming a plane part, corresponding to a part of a connecting part, at a part of a retainer, and interposing a double- side tape between the plane part and the connecting part to joint them mutually. CONSTITUTION:The retainer 3 of a center pillar 2 is provided with a weatherstrip 4, and the weatherstrip 4 is formed of a front weatherstrip 4A, a rear weatherstrip 4B and a connecting part 4C. The center part of the retainer 3 is formed in protruding shape, and its tip part is made a plane part 11. A recessed part 12 is formed in a position corresponding to the plane part 11, and the bottom face of the recessed part 12 is formed into plane shape. A double-side tape 13 is interposed between the bottom face of the recessed part 12 and the plane part 11 of the retainer 3 to joint them mutually. As a result, the weatherstrip 3 is fitted stably to the retainer 3, and there is no need to provide a through hole at the vehicle outer side face of the weatherstrip 4 so as to prevent the infiltration of water positively. |
