CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral part of a first polymer 28 is swollen by using a second polymerizable monomer 30 made to exist around this first polymer 28 by using the first polymer 28 previously subjected to first stress relieving and thereafter, the second polymerizable monomer 30 is polymerized to yield the composite polymer integrally formed with the first polymer 28 and the second polymer 30 via the mixed region of the first polymer compsn. and the second polymer compsn. Such composite polymer is subjected to second stress relieving and thereafter, the optical part is formed from this first polymer part and the supporting part is formed from the second polymer part to obtain the desired intraocular lens.
