<p>PURPOSE:To enhance printing quality without especially increasing memory capacity in a recording apparatus performing printing processing according to the data outputted from host machinery such as a host computer. CONSTITUTION:The data of three continuous lines of the video signal stored in a frame memory are stored in a three line buffers 31-34 selected by a divider 30 among four line buffers 31-34 and, when the rewriting processing of the video signal to the remaining one line bubber is performed, three line video signals stored in three line buffers are outputted to a boundary detection circuit 36 and a correction circuit 37. When the boundary of dot patterns is detected by the boundary detection circuit 36, an UM signal or ML signal is outputted and the dot data of the present line is divided into three parts in a sub-scanning direction by the correction circuit 37 and correction is applied to the line data. Printing processing is performed on the basis of the correction data and printing quality is enhanced.</p> |
