An impeller of a multiblade blower having at least two circular end plates or partition plates spaced apart from each other, and a plurality of blades disposed between peripheral portions of the partition plates. A cylindrical portion is formed on one of opposite edges of each blade at the inner peripheral side of the impeller so as to extend through the overall length of the blade. Another cylindrical portion is formed on the other edge of each blade at the outer peripheral side of the impeller so as to extend through the overall length of the blade. Each of these cylindrical portions has a diameter larger than the thickness of the portion of the blade connected to the cylindrical portion.
