The pulley used for steplessly controlling the quantity of the airflow in an air-conditioner, a fan, and an air-cleaner, comprises ae driving section (10) having a driving pulley (14) fixed at a driving shaft (11) with a variable inner diameter, a primary gear (16) connected with the pulley (14) at the driving shaft (11); a following section (30) having a following pulley (34) fixed at a following shaft (31) with a variable width, a secondary gear (36) connected with a pulley (34); a controlling section (20) for controlling the available inner diameter of the driving/following pulleys (14),(34) and steplessly controlling the RPM of the following shaft (31), connected with the primary/secondary gears of the driving/following pulleys at the idling state.
