The frame structure is suitable for an optical transmission system which needs various imformation services and simple hardwares. The frame comprises: a multiframe formed with 8 subframes having a symmetric duplex structure separated by channel, this multiframe including multiframe detecting bits (M0,M1,M2,M3; m0,m1,m2,m3), frame patterns (F0,F1), three kinds of remote loop back control bits (R1,L1,L2), service data (S1,S2,S3,S4) of byte unit, parity bits (ph,ps), stuffing control bits (C1,C2,C3) controlling the interleaving of channel stuffing bit. |
