The method for bean sprouts having fine roots and tenderness includes the steps of: (1) putting rice husk ashes at 30-40 mm height and the beans above in the culture vessel; (2) repeating the (1) step several times to prevent microbial contamination; (3) giving water for 5-7 days. The rice husk ashes which are non-toxic, do not have microbes and keep water, supplies potassium ions to bean sprouts.
