DECOMPOSITION OF HIGH-MOLECULAR WEIGHT POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL

摘要

PURPOSE:To decompose a high-molecular weight polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of about >=20,000 by using a single species of microorganism. CONSTITUTION:A high-molecular weight polyethylene glycol is decomposed by adding Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes No.02A (FERM P-13574) or Bacillus sp. No.S3A (FERM P-13573) to a medium containing the high-molecular weight polyethylene glycol and culturing the microorganism in the medium.
