An electric-current meter intended to be installed on an electrical panel is composed of a plurality of electrical appliances, each of which delivers to a load, via electrical power cables, an electric current, the strength of which may be measured by the said electric-current meter, each electrical appliance including, on a side face, output connection contacts. According to the invention, the electric-current meter (1) comprises, on one side face, input connection contacts (8) and, on an opposite side face (10A), output connection contacts (3), said input connection contacts (8) being connected to said respective output connection contacts of one of the said electrical appliances and the said output connection contacts (3) being connected to the said electrical power cables. <IMAGE>
