PURPOSE:To provide a high by dense and highly by hard sintered titanium diborate compact excellent in oxidation resistance. CONSTITUTION:This titanium diborate compact is composed of a TiB2 group ceramic containing 4-13 pts.wt. vanadium compound expressed in terms of vanadium, 50-160 pts.wt. titanium nitride, 0.5-2pts.wt. cardon and 1-10pts.wt. zirconium oxide based on 100pts.wt. titanium diborate. |
