PURPOSE:To provide a heat sensitive recording body having a high whiteness and a high sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:In a heat sensitive recording body, provided with a a substrate, an intermediate layer and a recording layer, containing leuco dye and color developing agent and laminated on the substrate, the intermediate layer contains 1), oil absorbing pigment having oil absorbing amount of 80ml/100g or more, 2), basic pigment, 3) titanium oxide by 20-60wt.% with respect to the total amount of solid of the intermediate layer. |
