<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the filming on the surface of the carrier and photosensitive body and to improve the triboelectric characteristic of a toner and the quality of a picture by forming the developer with a toner contg. a binder resin and a silicone resin and a magnetic carrier coated with a specified silicone resin. CONSTITUTION:This developer consists of a toner contg. a binder resin and a silicone resin and a magnetic carrier coated with a silicone resin contg. N-(3(trimethoxysilyl)propyl)-benzeneamine. In this case, the silicone resin to be incorporated into the toner is a silicone resin with the principal chain of the constituent molecule's having a polysiloxane structure, and a polysiloxane structure is exemplifed as such a silicone resin. Besides, an organopolysiloxane having a three-dimensional net-like structure with an Si-O-Si coupling as the principal chain can be incorporated, and further a modified silicone resin can be used, as required.</p> |
