MKETHOD FOR FREEZING AND STORING CELL OF TISSUE OF ORGANISM

摘要

PURPOSE:To freeze and store the cells or tissue of an organism without damage by treating the cells or tissue of the organism with an aqueous solution containing glycerol and sucrose and subsequently freezing the treated cells or tissue at a cryogenic temperature. CONSTITUTION:The cells or tissue of an organism are treated with an aqueous solution containing 20-70w/v% of glycerol and 10-70w/v% of sucrose and subsequently frozen at a cryogenic temperature. The method does not required DMSO which is a chemical injurious to the organisms.
