The present invention relates to a box, such as a box for apparatus, for which a simple and easy-to-use hinge member has been developed. The box comprises a cover and a bottom part with at least one channel open towards the cover and at least one hinge member connecting the cover to the bottom part. The hinge comprises an elongate piece made from an elastomer and/or a polymer mixture. Its first end is fastened to the cover, and its second end comprises at least one projecting part. The end of this projecting part can be pressed in the direction of the bottom part and introduced into the channel of the bottom part open towards the cover. Once introduced into this channel, it strives to prevent removal of this second end by bearing against the inner walls of the channel. <IMAGE>
