The invention relates to a miniature potentiometer of the type including a moulded casing (10), an electrically resistive ring-segment track (12), two connection terminals (14) and (15) linked to the said track, a current collector (16), a wiper (18), a wiper carrier (19) and a tubular linking part (21) establishing the electrical link between the said wiper and collector. The potentiometer according to the invention is characterised essentially in that: - the collector (16) includes two terminals (17a) and (17b) in opposition and situated in two perpendicular planes enabling different mounting possibilities on the basis of a single casing; - the tubular shaft (21) includes, in its part in contact with the collector, a double reinforcing wall (23); - the collector (16) and the connection terminals (14) and (15) are produced from the same metal strip, in a single stamping operation, on to which the casings will be directly moulded. <IMAGE>
