<p>PURPOSE:To provide the magnetic tape recording and/or reproducing device with which a head touch is uniform and writing and reading are stably executed without changing the regulating force of a tape on the lead of a rotary drum in plural recording modes varying in revolving speed of the drum. CONSTITUTION:A plunger 7 is energized and a drum inlet side inclined post 10 is driven clockwise viewed from above by means of a changeover plate 23, a lever 24 and a drum inlet side inclined post base 22 at the time of high- speed recording or reproducing. As a result, the angle of inclination of the guide surface of the inclined post 10 with the axis of rotation of the rotary drum changes and the guide state of the tape 2 changes from (d) to (c) and, therefore, the regulating force of the tape 2 on the lead (guide band inscribed on a stationary drum) of the rotary drum increases. The head touch as good as the head touch at the time of low-speed recording and reproducing is thus obtd. and the writing and reading are stably executed.</p> |
