MAGNETIC TONER AND DEVELOPING DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide the magnetic toners and developing device improved in image reproducibility by lessening the intensity of the magnetization of the magnetic toners and stabilizing a charge imparting process to the magnetic toners without decreasing the amt. of the magnetic material in the magnetic toners. CONSTITUTION:This developing device has the magnetic toners contg. at least the magnetic material, a developer carrying member 1 for depositing a developer contg. the magnetic toners on its surface, a regulating member 2 for regulating the application of the developer on this developer carrying member 1 and a magnet 1b in the developer carrying member 1. The magnetic toners contains the magnetic material consisting of a metal oxide having 10 to 40emu/g intensity of the magnetization in 1KOe (oersted) magnetic field and 0.05 to 0.5mum Ferat's diameter in a horizontal direction. The developing device has a means for changing the coupling state between the magnetic toners on the developer carrying member 1 in the positions near the developer carrying member on the downstream side in the developer transporting direction on the developer carrying member 1 with respect to the developer regulating member 2.
