PURPOSE:To improve the weakness of tensile strength and simple appearance of a soft water absorbing spun lace nonwoven fabric. CONSTITUTION:This patterned spun lace nonwoven fabric is obtained by carrying out the thermal embossing processing of a spunbonded nonwoven fabric (1), converting heated parts into films in the form of points, forming an optional pattern from the many parts (4) converted into the films in the form of the points, superposing a water absorbing fibrous web on at least one of the front and back surfaces of the spunbonded nonwoven fabric (1), subjecting the resultant laminate to treatment with high-pressure water columnar streams from the side of the water absorbing fibrous web, moving the fibrous web located on the parts (4) converted into the films in all directions, forming openings (6) in the water absorbing fibrous web layers (2) and (3) in the parts, simultaneously interlacing mutual fibers and forming a pattern due to the openings (6) corresponding to the parts (4) converted into the films of the spunbonded nonwoven fabric (1) on the surfaces of the water absorbing web layers (2) and (3). |
