Orientation adjustment device, especially for the positional adjustment of a laser beam. A first component (21) which can move rotationally about an axis (X1) is pierced with a bore (25) in which a second component (26) is mounted so as to rotate about an axis (X2) making an angle (alpha) with (X1). A mirror (31) is mounted in a bore (29) of the component (26) whose axis makes an angle (alpha) with the general direction of the latter. The incident beam (14a) strikes the mirror (31) at a point (P) which is the point of intersection of the axes (X1) and (X2). By rotating either the two components simultaneously about (X1), or the component (26) alone about (X2), the reflected beam (14b) is shifted, which enables the point of impact on the target (37) to be brought to the desired location rapidly.
