PURPOSE: To prevent circumferential separation of the meshing teeth of a driving gear and a driven gear when a blanket cylinder is rotated at high speed. CONSTITUTION: A driving gear 84 is rotated in a first direction 26 by an apparatus for applying a first circumferential torque to the driving gear 84, and a driven gear is rotated by in the direction opposite to a second direction 28 by an apparatus for applying a second circumferential torque to driven gears 70, 76, the second circumferential torque being equal to the value of the first circumferential torque.
