PURPOSE:To obtain the satellite communication method high in the availability of a satellite line. CONSTITUTION:A common line allocation command signal 5 is transmitted to a terminal station 11 transmitting a line allocation request signal 4 and a terminal station 12 being a communication opposite party to inform of two channels on a satellite line allocated for the communication, one of the commanded channels is used by the one terminal station as a transmission channel and the other as a reception channel and one of the commanded channels is used by the other terminal station as a reception channel and the other as a transmission channel and the stations start communication, and a common line release command signal is sent to the terminal station transmitting a line release request signal and a terminal station being its communication opposite party to command the release of the channels used for the communication and a central station 3 transmits simultaneously a common status request signal to all the terminal stations 11, 12. |
