PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of program instruction word to be used for an edge coordinate detector. CONSTITUTION:The edge coordinate detector has an image input converting part 4 for converting the video signal of an inputted analog signal into a digital signal and binarizing the digital signal by an optional threshold level, a frame memory part 3 for storing the binarized information, a storage device 2 for storing the order of program instruction words, and an arithmetic processing part 1 for converting the data of the frame memory part 3 in response to a program instruction word stored in the device 2 and outputting edge coordinate information. Consequently the constitution of the program instruction word can be simplified and data in the frame memory part 3 can be reduced. |
