PURPOSE:To transfer a MIDI signal and the other musical sound control signals to an electronic musical instrument without distinguishing them from each other by reserving plural logical channels and assigning these channels to the transmission line of the MIDI signal and musical sound control signals. CONSTITUTION:The MIDI signal outputted from a keyboard 4 is supplied to a sampler 2 through a MIDI line 43, a private operator 3, a MIDI line 31, a remote controller 1, and a private communication line 21. The private operator 3 supplies the manipulated variable of a slide operator to the remote controller 1 through the MIDI line 31 as the MIDI signal. The MIDI signal outputted from the private operator 3 is supplied to the sampler 2 through the MIDI line 31, the remote controller 1, and the private communication line 21. Even when the electronic musical instrument and a controller which controls its processing contents are connected by a private communication line other than the MIDI line, a MIDI apparatus can be connected to the controller to transmit the MIDI signal to the electronic musical instrument. |
