<p>PURPOSE:To employ a flying erasure system and enable editing without a residual erasure noise by using a time code recorded in an editing section as a tape address. CONSTITUTION:Time code effectiveness detection processing is performed by reference synchronizing pulses from an interface 17 and ineffective time is switched at the end of the processing. The result is set in a time code use effectiveness flag. Further, a time code processing main microcomputer 12 counts pulses from a 1/n counter 11 to obtain the difference dCTL in the number of pulses between a preceding frame and a current frame. When a tape travels in a positive direction, the difference dCTL is converted into time data, which are added to a register value in the microcomputer 12, but when the tape travels in a reverse direction the data are subtracted. Thus, the register value in the microcomputer 12 and the time code are supplied to an external editing machine through an interface circuit 23 and an output terminal 24.</p> |
