GUIDING MECHANISM FOR TAPE GUIDE

PURPOSE:To execute the sure selection action of the moving routes of tape guide members by a selecting means which turns around a fulcrum and has a first part and second part extending in the moving route direction on both sides of the fulcrum. CONSTITUTION:A contact part 45a of a branch guide plate 45 moves to a main guide 40a side, i.e., rotary head device 2 side and closes a second guiding groove 42 when the first tape guide member 24 parts from a contact part 45b of the branch guide plate 45 by passing a branch point 25. The second tape guide member 22 moves as well and a guide projection 26 formed on the rear surface of an inlet side second boat 11 is guided in an arrow M' direction and is slid and moved along a third guiding groove 43 by coming into contact with the left flank of a contact part 45a of the branch guide plate 45 as the loading 30 further rotates in a direction L. A positioning pin 28 implanted at the front end of the inlet side second boat 11 engages with a boat positioning member 29 and the tape loading action in the tape inlet side ends.
