PURPOSE:To provide a dye laser exciting YAG laser to be used for a spectroscopic light source with which a laser beam can be easily selected by a contact- point signal from outside. CONSTITUTION:The second high harmonics generating part 32 and the third high harmonics generating part 33 are series-connected to a fundamental wave generating part 31, the fundamental wave L1 of a YAG laser is made incident on the second high harmonics, and the laser light of three wavelengths of the fundamental wave L1, the second high harmonics L2 and the third high harmonics L3 is outputted from the third high harmonics generating part 33. By providing 532nm dichroic mirrors 34 and 39, 355nm dichroic mirrors 36 and 37 in the light path and by moving them outside the light path, the second high harmonics (532nm) or the third high harmonics (355nm), among the laser L, is outputted to the light path of a dye laser. A lambda/2 plate is provided on the light path of the third high harmonics, and the laser light of the third high harmonics, which is a lateral polarized light, is converted to the longitudinal polarized light necessary for excitation. |
