<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently remove an insulating coating in a desired width without cutting off by mounting an insulated conductor on a first electrode of a desired width and adjoining a second electrode to the first electrode to press the insulated conductor on both sides and melting the coating of the insulated conductor with the supply of a current in that condition. CONSTITUTION:The output current of a secondary winding 12 is passed into a first electrode 16 to heat the first electrode 16. On the other hand, the output current of the secondary winding 12 is detected by a current detecting coil 20 to supply its output to a controller 22 and control the turning on and off of a switch 18 with its output. When the output of an effective value detecting circuit 26 to which the output of a rectifying circuit 24 is inputted goes down to a target temperature, the switch 18 is so controlled as to be in the off-state. In such an arrangement, a litz wire 40 is closely mounted over a second electrode 30. Next, the first electrode 16 is brought down to press the litz wire 40 between the first electrode 16 and the second electrode 30 and pass a current into the first electrode 16 and the second electrode 30, thereby generating Joule heat.</p> |
