PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device by fixing a hub to the surface side having an information recording part of a veneer type optical disk and forming a clamping area on the surface to be irradiated with a light spot. CONSTITUTION:The hub 10 including a hub holder 11 having a fixing part 11a to be fixed to the first surface 1a having the information recording part 2 of the veneer disk 1 is fixed to the first surface 1a side of the disk 1 by utilizing a center hub 3. The disk 1 including the hub 10 is formed to the thickness size over the entire thereof nearly equal to the thickness size of the veneer disk part. Then, the thickness size over the entire part of the device is reduced and the size of the device is reduced when the disk 1 is installed to the optical disk device. |
