PURPOSE:To obtain recording excellent in fixing properties and enhanced in dot position accuracy with a high heating efficiency. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 17 having a first heating means for heating, melting and liquefying hot-melt ink, an ink tank 21 receiving liquid ink to supply the same to the recording head 17 through a supply pipe 22 and a second heating means having a heater 20 in front of the moving direction of the recording head 17 are provided on a carriage 18 moving in the direction shown by an arrow above the guide shaft 23 provided in parallel to the recording paper 24 on a platen.
