发明名称 CELL TRANSFER METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the communication efficiency by giving a sequential number to a transmission cell and setting the number to be a virtual channel number. CONSTITUTION:A virtual path VP is set as a private line but the setting/ disconnection of a virtual channel VC is not related and the VC is used freely by users. A connector 13 divides packet information into cells and each cell is sent by a VP of contracted virtual path number (e.g. VPI=1) while a number is sequentially set in order starting from 1 and is transmitted to a virtual channel number VCI. The connector 14 composes information in the cell starting from 1 in the order of each VCI number of the received cell of VPI=1. When the VCI is skipped (e.g. from 2 to 4), it is discriminated that a cell of VCI=3 is abandoned and the '3' is set to the VCI of the cell of VPI=1 on an outgoing line and sent to the connector 13. Upon receipt of the cell by the connector 13, the connector 13 sends cells to the connector 14 again in the order from the 3rd cell (VCI=3) sent before.
