Position sensor

A position sensor for monitoring the radial angle position and/or the angular velocity and/or the direction of rotation of a driven shaft is described which exhibits a rotor which is connected to the shaft and is laterally magnetised in a number of poles on the circumference and which interacts with magnetic field sensors which are arranged on a board extending perpendicularly to the axis of the shaft and the output signals of which are evaluated in corresponding evaluating circuits.
