The invention relates to a device for determining the position of a moving object, having a fixed-position station which, via a fixed-position first antenna whose location is surveyed geodetically and whose true geographical position is thus known, receives external signals from specific land-based or satellite-based transmitters, for example, determines from these signals a calculated geographical position for the location of the first antenna and, as a function of deviations between the calculated position and the true position, calculates first correction values and transmits these correction values via a second antenna, and having a receiving device which is provided on the moving object and likewise receives the external signals, uses the signals to determine a calculated geographical position for the instantaneous location of the moving object, receives the correction values transmitted from the transmitter of the fixed-position station, and corrects the calculated position with the aid of the received first correction values. The special feature of the invention is that the fixed-position station likewise receives the external signals via a fixed-position third antenna, whose location is geodetically surveyed and whose true geographical position is thus known, and uses the signals to determine a calculated geographical position for the location of the third antenna and corrects this calculated position with the aid of the first correction values, and in that deviations between the thus corrected ...
