<p>Apparatus for detecting and analysis of images, especially for checking the coloured ring code of vials, comprising one or more television cameras able to scan images of groups of vials supported on a conveyor belt and passing underneath them. The images are sent to image processing means which verify their correctness. The image processing means are furthermore connected to input/output means 11 that put out the result from the image processing means 9 and that receive at the input a signal able to signal the switching of the images from one television camera 5 to the next. The apparatus is characterised in comprising one or more optical means able to enlarge the portion of image containing the coloured ring code and placed between the television camera(s) 5 and the conveyor belt. Furthermore, one or more television cameras are controlled by multiplexing means 8 able to control the switching of the pan between one television camera 5 and the next. Finally, the television cameras and the optical means, together with means of illumination, are enclosed in a boxlike body which guarantees isolation from outside light. <IMAGE></p> |
