<p>The invention concerns a flexible joint of the mechanical type, consisting of two opposite coaxial flanges characterised by the fact that it includes two flanges 1, 2 between which is inserted a ring 4 of a flexible material. In particular, the flange 1 has a cavity inside into which is inserted a number of projections connected to the second flange 2. The connection between the two flanges is made by means of a central metal ring 3, that has a number of lozenge- shaped vent holes inside which two pins 5 engage that are fixed to the said flanges 1 and 2 (fig. 1). <IMAGE></p> |
