Radial piston machine

A radial piston machine (pump or motor) comprises a casing (10) having a closed shell wall (12) and further comprises a shaft (15) with a stroke element (32) which is in effective connection with pistons (38). The pistons (38) are each disposed in a separate cylindrical element (36) shaped like a segment of a circle, the cylindrical elements being grouped around the shaft (15) in a star-like manner. The cylindrical elements (36) are linked, to one another and to the casing (10), in a non-positive (frictional) manner by means of fixing sleeves (52), and in a positively locking manner by means of stiffening ribs (45) and bearing surfaces (seats) (47). Associated with the cylindrical elements (36) there is a common valve element (60), though it is also possible for separate valve elements (63) to be provided in each case. The radial piston machine according to the invention can be manufactured particularly economically and cost-effectively. <IMAGE>
