<p>This involves tongs for eradicating weeds and the like from orchards and gardens. It is characterised in providing a pair of shafts 1, 2, terminating at the bottom in rakes 6, 7, the first of which has straight teeth 8, while the second has curved teeth 9. By driving the straight teeth into the ground 3, with the shafts in angularly deviating position, followed by narrowing the angle between the aforesaid, which also results in driving in the curved teeth 9, it is possible to eradicate the weed 4 with extreme simplicity and it allows the user to work in essentially erect position. <IMAGE></p> |
